01/23/18 @ 02:15AM Evacuations Underway on East and West Side of Kenai Peninsula

The Cities of Seward (Southeast Kenai Peninsula) and Homer (Southwest Kenai Peninsula) are currently under evacuation orders. First responders are urging residents to follow evacuation routes to higher ground. Listen to local radio stations or VHF marine radio channels for current updates. Do not re-enter low lying areas until the all clear has been determined.
