Kenai
Peninsula Borough residents and visitors be aware that a burn closure has been
ordered by the State Forester beginning on 7/9/2019 8:45:34 AM due to a high to
extreme fire danger. Under this closure, all open fires, including burn barrels
and campfires, are prohibited except in approved facilities provided within
public parks and recreation areas. All burn permits are thereby suspended until
further notice.
