Alaska COVID-19 Resources and Information from DCCED

Juneau, Alaska – In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alaska Department of Commerce,
Community, and Economic Development (DCCED) has compiled helpful information and resources on the following websites:

• Economic Resource Recovery Portal for Businesses: Managed by the Alaska Development Team,
this page includes information on tools and resources available to help Alaskan businesses,
including federal and state loans and grants, contact information for local economic
development organizations, and more. Businesses are advised to visit this page periodically for
updated information.

• COVID-19 Resources for Communities: Managed by the Division of Community and Regional
Affairs, this page lists resources available to assist municipalities and communities.

• CBPL COVID-19 Information: Created and managed by the Division of Corporations, Business,
and Professional Licensing (CBPL), this page includes clarifying guidance and best practices from
the division and professional licensing boards, guidance from national professional
organizations, FAQs, and more.

• Division of Banking and Securities Homepage: The division’s homepage currently contains key
information for mortgage loan originators, extensions on deadlines, and more.

• Division of Insurance Homepage: The division’s homepage currently contains insurance-related
information, including: testing information, assistance for homeowners, telehealth for physical
therapy and mental health, awareness of COVID19 insurance fraud, COVID-19 related expanded
benefits and resources, COVID health alerts regarding elective procedures, and the bulletins that
have been issued to insurers.
• Facts about Food Safety and COVID-19: Created and managed by the Alaska Seafood Marketing
Institute (ASMI), this page provides facts about seafood safety and COVID-19.
• Regulatory Commission of Alaska Homepage: The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA)
homepage includes links to headlines about utility mitigation measures and guidance from the
National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners about safe digging while people are
home.

• AIDEA Homepage: The Alaska Industrial Development & Export Authority (AIDEA) homepage
contains links to the announcement of the Sustaining Alaska’s Future Economy (AK SAFE)
program and access to information about AIDEA loan programs.
