7/16/19 KPB Alerts Emergency Nofication Test Results for Cooper Landing, Alaska

The Borough Office of Emergency Management activated a test call through the “KPB Alerts” emergency notification system within the unincorporated community of Cooper Landing, Alaska. This phone call was released to all landlines and registered cell phones at 1:05 PM today Tuesday July 16, 2019.  This brief test was only being conducted for registered landlines and cell phones with physical addresses located in Cooper Landing.
The results from today's test notification at 1:05PM are based upon call volume.* The stats below do not breakdown how a user elects to register cell phones or the number of calls that went to cell phones or landlines that are in service. The test ended at 1:16PM.

333 calls (33 incomplete)
73 email notifications
108 text message notifications
1 TDD (telecommunications device for the deaf)

*There are 292 assigned landlines within Cooper Landing.


As of 2:00PM, the Borough OEM office did not receive any technical reports from community members. Individuals that did not receive the test notification by today July 16, 2019 may email or call the Office of Emergency Management. To provide a technical report or for more information, call 907-262-INFO (4636) or email oem@kpb.us. Please provide the name of your cell phone carrier, your physical address and the registered phone numbers.
