6/23/15 4:00 pm Card Street FIre State Disaster Individual Assistance Program Available for Eligible Residents

State of Alaska Department of Military & Veterans Affairs, Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management has announced the State Disaster Individual Assistance program is available for individuals and families within the Kenai Peninsula Borough with damaged homes, essential personal property, and transportation losses from the 2015 Card Street Fire.

Hotline and Online Registration will begin June 23, 2015

State Disaster Individual Assistance Hotline 1-855-445-7131  (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Online registration: http//ready.alaska.gov
You will receive an email confirmation when you have successfully submitted your application.

If you need an interpreter, please have a representative call 1-855-445-7131.
Applicants with hearing disabilities can call TTY 1-855-445-7131.

Please provide when you call or apply online:
  • Description of damages and/or losses
  • Damaged Property Address
  • Insurance Information
  • Personal Identification Information
  • Proof of ownership and residency


State Individual Assistance Damage Verifiers must have access to damaged property and/or photos, documents, and other proof of damage.

TAKE PICTURES OF DAMAGE BEFORE CLEANING UP AND KEEP RECEIPTS FROM ANY COST INCURRED!
The deadline to apply for individual assistance is August 18, 2015.
