6/25/19 Smoke on the Sterling Hwy - be cautious

Be aware there is smoke on the Sterling Highway from the Swan Lake Fire and drivers may encounter flaggers. Expect possible 90 min delays on the highway today due to fire activity and fire equipment. Beware smoke and congestion on the road.
Fire crews are planning burnout operations from the transmission line north toward the main fire along about milepost 63 to 72. However, test burns showed crews don't have favorable wind conditions to conduct the burn this morning and will wait until conditions are right
