9/3/19 5:00PM Sterling Highway Update

As of 7:00 this morning, pilot cars are no longer being used on the Sterling Highway due to activity on the Swan Lake Fire. There is road construction on the highway that is utilizing pilot cars so motorists may still have some short delays. Travelers will see smoke and downed trees while passing through the fire area. Fire crews may also be working along the road cleaning up trees that have fallen so drivers are encouraged to drive safely and remain alert. We are attaching a short video that shows what conditions are like on the roadway.
