9/7/19 - 4:25 PM - Swan Lake Fire Update
Rain has come over the Swan Lake Fire. Firefighters are continuing to widen control lines along all edges of the fire. With the rain helping temper the flames, firefighters are getting into targeted areas to seek and destroy fire identified by infrared flights from drones. Control line objectives of 100 feet are being met specifically on the western edge of the fire. The eastern edge of the fire near Resurrection Pass Trail still has some heat and helicopters were used yesterday to keep it cooled down and will be used today as well depending on visibility due to the weather. The Fire acres remain at 163,686.
