9/3/19 8:45 AM Smoke Outlook for 9/3-9/4 Alaska South

Fire

Smoke Susitna Valley: Good air quality is expected to remain today and tomorrow from Talkeetna to Palmer. 

Anchorage Area and the Kenai Peninsula: Continued good air quality is also expected from Homer and Seward north to Anchorage. Light smoke may be visible along the western side of the Peninsula near the Swan Lake fire, however this is not expected to affect air quality. 

Daily Average Surface Smoke for 9/4
Glennallen Area: Smoke from the Tokaina 2 fire will drift northerly again today and tomorrow maintaining hazy skies to the north of the fire and west of the town of Glennallen. 

Health 
Pay attention to changing conditions. If you begin to notice health effects from smoke, you are encouraged to follow the "actions to protect yourself" listed below.
