9/1/19 1:00 PM - Sterling Highway Update

The Sterling Highway remains open! Pilot cars continue to escort vehicles between MP 40-71. Motorists are reporting wait times of 15-50 minutes. Delays are subject to change due to smoke conditions and other hazards such as trees falling across the road. We ask travelers to come prepared for delays and continue to enjoy the Kenai Peninsula!
