8/25/19 11:00 am Sterling Highway Update - STILL OPEN

The Sterling Highway is still open but there are reports of very heavy smoke between miles 71 and
53.

We are still hearing there may be traffic delays for smoke or fire activity so plan accordingly and take food and snacks. We still advise to avoid travel if possible.

Drive with headlights on and reduced speed in smoky areas.
