08/19/19 Sterling Highway Status as of 7:20AM Monday August 19, 2019

As of 7:20AM Monday 08/19/19, the Sterling Highway remains closed from mileposts 53 to 75. This closure is due to fire activity on both sides of the higway corridor, making it unsafe to travel. For highway updates, please monitor 511.alaska.gov. The Borough Call Center will update this web page as soon as new information is available. Other helpful resources are located on both sides of this page.
