Below is today's map for the Swan Lake Fire, which shows that the fire grew by over 4,000 acres. Some rain was received last night in the Soldotna area, which has cleared the air. Firefighters will be heading soon to this morning's briefing to receive today's assignments.
There is a public meeting scheduled for tonight at 6 pm for Cooper Landing. The exact location still needs to be verified so please check back.
