8.27.19 - 11:45 am - Swan Lake Fire Operations
Firefighters on the ground this morning determined that the fire advanced last night approximately two hundred yards in the Resurrection Trail area. The Trout Lake Cabins and cabins north remain unaffected.
Swan Lake Air Operations have been able to put eyes on the fire. The fire has not made any significant advances south between Slaughter and Shaft Creeks. Smoke is still heavy in the area, managers are evaluating options for aerial resources. Helicopters will be dropping water to hold this line and to work in conjunction with crews on the ground.
