8/30/19 5:30 pm Swan Lake Fire Operational Update

A Fire Boss that scoops through pontoons but drops from the belly.
These have been working around the Resurrection  Pass Trail northwest
of Cooper Landing
Firefighters have been working to make public roads safer by working to address hazard trees across the roadways. This work has been completed on the southwest corner of the fire towards Sterling, along the Sterling Highway, and Skilak Lake Road.

These have been working around the Resurrection  Pass Trail northwest 
of Cooper Landing
Crews are on the ground in the Resurrection Trail area. Multiple single engine aircraft are working around Trout Lake to scoop water and use it on the eastern edge of the fire towards Cooper Landing
