8/18/19 Through traffic halted on Skilak Lake Road

There are flaggers and Alaska State Troopers at Milepost 65 and Milepost 56 on the Sterling Highway where traffic is down to a single lane with pilot cars.  Right now, no through traffic is permitted on Skilak Lake Road and no traffic is allowed beyond Upper Skilak Lake Road to the East Entrance.  You can still access areas west of Upper Skilak Lake Road using the west entrance.
