8/19/19 Shelter at the Soldotna Sports Center closes

In conjunction with the Kenai Peninsula Borough, the Red Cross has closed the emergency shelter located at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex (538 Arena Ave #8200, Soldotna, AK 99669), as those displaced as a result of the Swan Lake Fire are able to make their way back home.

As fires across the state remain active, please remember to utilize the free Red Cross Emergency App to stay up to date on 35 different severe weather and emergency alerts. You can text GETEMERGENCY to 90999, visit redcross.org/apps, or search for "American Red Cross" in your mobile phone app store.
